It speaks

OBL (via Drudge): "Your security is not in the hands of Kerry or Bush or Al Qaeda. Your security is in your hands. Each state that doenst mess with our security has automatically secured their security."

I take this to mean that al Qaida will leave us alone if we elect John Kerry and, as his campaign has hinted, his administration turns its back on Israel. This offer, coupled with the lack of distinction between the words of OBL and those of Michael Moore (feted at the Democratic Convention and currently campaigning for Kerry) ought itself to be sufficient reason to vote for Bush. Some say he wants Bush to win and expects a pro-Bush backlash against his message, but I don't think so. The Islamists successfully threw the Spanish election to the anti-Iraq-war Socialists, and I'm guessing their assumption is that Americans will react the same way. We will know in four days whether the majority of Americans are courageous or cowardly.
